Martha Leishman - Drama at Work
Summary
Martha Leishman is a corporate and personal coach, experienced facilitator, creative trainer and actor. She is an associate coach with Sheppard Moscow, and a registered coach for the Clore Leadership Programme. She trained with Results Coaching in 2004.
In the year 2000, Martha launched her business with a vision to provide role-play, creative training and coaching for the development of communication at work. With her team of talented actors she has a successful track record of delivering role-play and theatre scenarios for learning and development. She also coaches speakers and presenters on communication skills for formal and informal presentations. She has coached executives and celebrities in the public and private sectors on a one-to-one basis, building confident communication using a performance coaching style.
Martha trained as an actor, graduating from the Guildford School of Acting in 1993. She has been working in the arts sector as a performer in theatre, film and television for over twenty years and has film and television credits such as ‘My Life so Far’, ‘Orphans’, ‘The Adventures of Greyfriars Bobby’, ‘The Planman’, ‘The Bill’ and ‘Take the High Road’. She is also a voice artiste and currently voices promotional trails for BBC Scotland television.
Martha is an active member of the Association for Coaching, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, and a performance reviewer for the National Council for Drama Training. She is qualified to teach English as a second language, and graduated from St Andrews University with an MA honours degree in Scottish History.
